Welcome to the Hepatitis B Foundation’s storytelling website, where we share genuine stories from real people living with hepatitis B and liver cancer worldwide. Storytelling provides a way to empower and connect people living with or affected by hepatitis B and liver cancer and helps put a human face on this serious disease. The goals of sharing stories from real people with lived experiences of hepatitis B and liver cancer are to increase awareness and advocacy, decrease stigma and discrimination, and promote testing, vaccination, linkage to care, and treatment to help save lives.

His treatment was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but eventually, he underwent a hepatectomy. She reflects on the emotional toll of transitioning from a wife to a caregiver and how they both navigated the uncertainty.
